I'm not actually full vegan - I eat goat's/sheep's cheese and honey, but don't have eggs or cows' milk as I am intolerant to them. I know loads of vegans though, and met plenty of vegan children over the years and they are always healthy and strong.
One woman I met had a son who was about 12, brought up vegan and had never been ill in his life- not a cold or virus, nothing.
