That's fine humour. But it is no match for post #281, which, if you allow me to emit a value judgement, is one of the funniest things I've seen drawn. How do you like this one (thou it's not about music)?

A little green one-eyed Martian leapt out of a flying saucer pointed his ray gun
at me and demanded, "Take me to your leader!" So I did. We heard a truly wonderful
performance of "An die ferne Geliebte" and the Martian had a tear in his eye.

Anyway, this crook was selling "authentic" composers' skulls outside the Central Cemetery in Vienna and this gullible Irishman paid a hefty sum of money for Beethoven's skull.

On re-visiting Vienna some years later, he found the guy still selling skulls - and one of them was Beethoven's.

"Hey," shouted the Irishman. "You sold me Beethoven's skull about five years ago - so how can you have it now! And by the way, the skull you sold me was much smaller!"

"Well," said the seller, "the skull I sold you was of Beethoven as a boy!"

Got another joke for us Michael? I know you Irish fellas are full of them- I went to guitar classes taught by an Irishman a few years ago. I swear to god noone made me laugh as hard as he did. My stomach was in agony!

Well, you must have heard about the Irishman who walked into a bar and wound up in casualty?
                        It was an iron bar.

(Remember - you asked for it! )

Ha! Funny, I was dreaming about Dublin last night- I lived there for awhile a few years ago.

I would much rather have men ask why
I have no statue, than why I have one.
                            -- Marcus Procius Cato

By the way, they have made a mistake writing Cato's name. The second name should read "Porcius", not "Procius", in the post above. Here's another:

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind starts and under hills,
                              And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
                              Ends life, kills laughter.

Honestly, I don't have a cue what that thing can be. Do you?
