Problem logging-in via Firefox

    Question for all those encountering this problem - when you get a page format that looks like Quijote's attached images above: if you click on the picture of Beethoven, does the page then look normal? I notice that always works for me, at least on google Chrome.

        OK, I think I might understand what is going on here. I think this is the difference between http and https in the URL. The former is the traditional hypertext transfer protocol, and the latter is the secure version, which is important for financial transactions, dealing with personal data, and things like that that have nothing to do with this forum. And it seems the forum does not work well with https and requires the plain old http to display correctly. But if you don't explicitly type in the full URL with the http, most modern browsers will automatically put an https there. That's the reason clicking the image works - it has the http in its link.

        So basically, if you are seeing the forum garbled, force your browser to use http by either clicking the image in the garbled version of the page or typing out the full URL: http://www.gyrix.com/forums

        I think that should work every time.
