    Problem logging-in via Firefox

Dear forum members, I've been unable to log-in for over 3 weeks now (I use Firefox). I've only just now managed to do so using a VPN.
I've just tried to access the site via Chrome and that doesn't work either!
Any idea why this might be? Chris, any ideas?

Maybe something to do with your firewall, preventing you accessing BRS. Does it happen with other websites ?

This is just a longshot... Maybe try and update your firewall settings, ensure that your firewall is configured to allow Firefox to access the internet.
Another thought occurred to me, try empty Firefox cache , to clear things up.. I try all these things on a hope and a prayer to see if it works..

I'm not sure. I can tell you that nothing about the forum has changed in the last three weeks (actually much longer than that). I am accessing the forum through Chrome right now and regularly access it through Chrome on several different devices, so there is no problem with Chrome itself.

When you say you cannot access the site, what exactly do you mean? You see nothing and get an error? It appears garbled? You can see it but your login credentials do not work?

Thanks Megan and Chris, it's working now. I ran C Cleaner (which removes cookies and clears the cache) and that seems to have done the trick.

Good you have solved the issue.

These issues are almost always solved by clearing the cache. Sometimes automatic browser updates break things, though, too.

For the first time in weeks I've been able to login here , as well. Earlier, I did clear the cache, but all that did was ensure I was logged out and I was not able to login because the buttons were not working for me. The format of the forum was off so that navigating was difficult. I tried with Edge, which I rarely use, so that cache should not have been an issue, and with chrome on two different computers with the same garbled format issue. Today The site appeared normal, but I have not done anything different the last time. My opinion is that there was something in the recent updates of Firefox that affected the format of the forum, but has been fixed by the browser.

Glad everything has sorted itself out, Sorrano . It has been quiet in here.

Thanks! Seems that I remember a recent Firefox update, so I think whatever that included fixed the problem for me. I will have to try this on the other machine, as well.

I've also had the problem again. I cleared my cache but that didn't work this time. I then deactivated my internet protection for a brief moment and that didn,t work either.

I've attached two screenshots that seem to show a problem with my accessing the site.
