That video is crazy and hilarious. I wonder if dogs back then were simply acclimated to a different world -- no audio systems -- so freaked out. I would happily go back to a much quieter 1900-style atmosphere so long as I was the only one with a stereo system and portable player. The problem these days is there is just too much noise reproduction and you're forced to endure it via your neighbor's rap music or pounding mindless beats at department stores, cafes, car audio systems, the park..arrhhhhggg
