    Depends on the tempo (or metronome) marking but to all intents and purposes it would be played as a tremolo.

      The note group must be repeated until filling the measure. The same with the staff below. This, as Philip said, is a tremolo.

          In a rolled chord, you only play each note once and hold them. In a tremolo, you rapidly alternate between the lower note and the upper note(s) - like a trill.
