    BEETHOVEN PIANO SONATAS, ANNIE FISCHER.

Does anyone know whether this cycle, performed by Annie Fischer, is a mono or stereo recording?

    Thanks,

A friend of mine has some Fischer recordings of Beethoven sonatas and they sounded stereo to me. If the recording is in mono it will usually say so on the box.

Does it really matter a lot for a cycle of piano sonatas?

In theory I suppose it would not matter so much for a solo instrument, but a mono recording indicates an older and probably poorer quality recording.
