    Beethven the Mason

Many months ago I posted here asking if Beethven had been a member of the Masonic Lodge. No one seemed to know for sure. I just ran across this Canadian Lodges website while chasing down some Mozart material. They seem to think B was a Mason. Thought you might want to know.

Beethoven was with most likely not a mason.
He certainly was surrounded by masons, and most definitely influenced by Masonic thinking. See for a discussion about this: http://www.forum-lvbeethoven.com/For...d.php?19,10045
