    Beethoven String quartett op.130 Bb-Major - for orchestra

    Of all late Beethoven stringquarttet movements the 1st movement from op. 130 always had been the one that I had the least access to - because of it's complexity, many tempo changes, ... Only the ingenious development I always have loved very much. What does this unusual movement mean to you?

    But now, as I also made an attempt to put it into a symphonic orchestra form, it became one of my favourite Beethoven movements:

    I think the movement is another example of Beethoven improvising with all these sudden changes of tempo and mood - I've always loved this piece and I'm glad that your orchestrations are helping you to appreciate hidden depths in these pieces!
