Fascinating photos Peter- I didn't see that link when I was on the Beethoven Haus website last night. Makes one feel a bit funny looking at that empty room. I presume you meant the right hand corner?

Yes - this was the main room and the pianos were also there - looking through the doors is the study. The Beethovenhaus have a virtual reality dvd of the layout you can buy and move from room to room with the furniture placed as it was. At least they did have - I bought mine some years ago.
