    New Beethoven Letter Found

Anything written by Beethoven now commands a high price. Last year a six-word shopping list in the composer's handwriting was sold at auction for £49,000.
    Wow.

I think I'll have another dig around in the attic, I'm sure I came across some illegible letters!

I can't seem to find any further information about the expensive shopping list, except that it contained only six words!

Thanks, Fidelio. Whoever said it contained only six words was exaggerating - (or what's the term for exaggerating in the opposite sense?)
Maybe what was meant was only six shopping items!

              That would be an understatement.

This gentleman wasn't a bit pleased with that expensive shopping list:

Like most PhD's sitting, probably sitting in an ivory tower with a thumb up his ass, they have zero creativity and less humanity. People like to have direction connection, call it karma, spirituality, etc. To be able to touch and handle something that LvB did is rare unless you're curator at a museum.

I could turn that shopping list into an interesting and funny 30/45 min stage play about a day in LvB's life, just based on what's on the list. Try that hat on for size "Dr."

and unfortunately for human curiosity sake, less touching is better for the letter
