    New Beethoven Symphony Cycle

I see at Amazon that they're now selling a box set of Beethoven's symphonies (and several overtures) by the Anima Eterna Orchestra conducted by Jos van Immerseel. It says that the set was released in January 2008. I did a search and couldn't find anything about this release on this site and wondered if anyone has heard it and/or has any thoughts. It is a period instrument cycle, it seems.

No I haven't heard of it and I admit my initial reaction was oh no not another cycle! There is a problem isn't there I think for orchestras an recording companies when there are so many excellent recordings already out there. The HIP movement provided a new angle but where do we go from here?

I've heard some of that new cycle on the radio. It's good, but nothing altogether too special.
