Beethoven Feralas - what is it?

[JA Gardiner]

Well I'm still wondering who this Miss A Solemnis that LVB wrote from the heart to was - I think we should be told!

[makir35]

Scottish? Oh for Kreutzer.

[Michael]

Very good Michael - only got it when listening to the Mount Egg overture!

What a glorious moment that must have been!

[Peter]

Beethoven himself would probably love this, he did love puns.

But you have to admit these puns are a bit scary - like a backward Stephen King ....................

[Michael]

I've gone blank. Just hoping something will spring to mind.

[JA Gardiner]

Oh very arch Duck! Washed down with the orange juice concerto by Rodrigo no doubt..

[Peter]

Now let's not get tempestuous - speaking of which I think it's time for the Passion fruit sonata!

[Michael]

That was diabellical, J.A.

[JA Gardiner]

Or maybe we've proved what I've always suspected that LVB was a Yorkshireman - just depends what lass it were fer!

[JA Gardiner]

I suppose Feralas could be shelved alongside dear Wolfie's " I'm inclined to knock music".....

[makir35]

Another classic thread. This one may go 70 replies deep or may even never give up the ghost.

[Michael]

It's a bit of harmless fun as long as we don't harp on about it.

[Rutradelusasa]

Let's not get Pathetic, here!

Sure! No need to get worked up over such a bagatelle.
