    Schubert - Moments Musicaux

What is a good recording for Schubert's Moments Musicaux? Any suggestions?

The performance by Youri Egorov is one of the most heartbreaking piano playing that I have ever heard. He played the MM on his farewell concert in 1987 (shortly after that he would die from Aids).
It's on a cd together with D958 and released by the Yuri Egorov Foundation, so it might be hard to get it, since the foundation doesn't exist anymore. But perhaps it was reissued.

I would recommend either Brendel or Murray Perahia - both give excellent accounts of these delightful gems.

Perahia was the first one I searched but I cannot find any recording of him playing Moments Musicaux. Do you have this recording?

Actually on checking it is the Impromptus I have with Perahia and these are superb. For the Moments Musicaux I have Dirk Joeres and again the playing is sympathetic and stylistic.

            Schubert's final sonata is D960 not D958.
