    Beethoven weekend at Paxton House

Paxton House is a very fine Palladian country house from the 18th C, designed by John Adam with an idyllic setting on the banks of the River Tweed, near Berwick-upon-Tweed, England.

Pianist Gusztav Fenyo (director of summer music festival there) will perform Beethoven's last 6 piano sonatas, Op 126 and the Diabelli variations in a series of concerts over the weekend June 22-24.

Beethoven lovers don't miss it! I'll be there anyway and will report back. Watch this space...

Having enjoyed their chamber music series a few years back, I can also highly recommend Paxton House for a beautiful setting and great music.
