I'm afraid I showed no aptitude for the piano. The limit of my musical ability is a Bouree in E minor by JS Bach on the classical guitar. Apart from that it's strumming a few simple blues licks. Oh well...
If you can play all 32 after just three years, then "hats off gentlemen, a genius!"

I guess the same movement I can play aswell..the first movement from the sonata op.27 nr.2 in C sharp minor, ze moonlight.I will hopefully within this year start to learn the op.28 sonata and the pathetique op.13..but these may perhaps be for the next pianoyear. To play beethoven correctly is hugely difficult...to me it is anyway..I'm now starting to struggle with polyphonics and my liking of bach is increasing and decreasing in rapid moments.Currently I'm tackling the zweistimmige inventionen, I'm playing the 8th right now and will be playing the second in c minor hereafter...difficult...but once you've mastered one...a Great joy.Originally posted by Nightklavier:
I can play a movement from just one sonata, so there
Anyone want to try and guess which sonata?

Being an amateur my sonata playing consists of the first mm of The Moonlight, second movement of PS#8 and am now working on the 2nd movement of Opus 49 No. 2.
Pianoprodigy do tell us how you learned such a difficult feat in such a comparatibly short time! Your name maybe explains it all!

The piano sonata op.6 must be a tricky thing, all the same.
