Thanks for posting that Quijote. I read through rather quickly and can only say that I'm sceptical of some of the points, especially the correlation with Schizophrenia which I don't believe there is any evidence of in Beethoven. Undoubtedly Beethoven's deafness played an enormous part in the changes that occurred in his creative life, but the analogies drawn in the article about his 3 creative stages seems to me rather tenuous.
