    I wish I'd seen this two days ago, but it's too good not to share!

    Yes I saw this and of course he does play them very beautifully and musically, but if the slow tempi he plays in the excerpts are typical of the whole set then I'm not sure of the technical benefits, certainly in playing all of them. Certain of the studies are useful (particularly if transposed into different keys), but many such passages can be found in the preludes of Bach and the sonatas of Mozart, Cramer and Clementi.
