Yes I'm not sure how accurate the figures are, but you only have to look at International piano competitions to see some truth in it with regard to the Asian presence. It's the youth demographic that I'd be interested in because there lies the future.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the figures are a vast underestimate and it’s more like 30% listening to classical music.

Whatever the figures, I suspect more Asian youth are listening to classical than European.
