does anyone have any information concerning the masters brush with a couple of Irish fiddle players in Italy if true how to get hold of any transcripts of the alleged compositions
The only Irish works I'm aware of are his arrangements with piano trio of Irish folk-songs WoO 152 and 153 - I'm not sure where Italy comes into it though - B never went there.
