Well-Tempered Clavier Book II - Fugues in g-minor and g#-minor

After the orchestration of the E-Mjor Fugue from Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Book II

now I did the same with the Fugues in g-minor:

    and g#-minor:

Especially the g#-minor fugue was a wonderful experience. Usually this masterwork is performed with rather fast tempo which to my mind is not convey the depth of this work. Through Daniel Barenboim's wonderful slow interpretation I got an idea what an ingenious and chromatic work this is, and so I tried to create a slow and pathetic 'Andante sonstenuto' orchestration. My favourite part is the final part starting at 7:20 :

Wonderful Gerd - I love the haunting oboe opening of the G# minor. Have you approached any conductors to see if they're interested in performing your orchestrated versions?

Gerd, splendid orchestrations, both, and I particularly liked the prelude. You might have answered this earlier, but what equipment and software do you use? I ask as I would like to rebuild my music system.

      Thank you for sharing!

        Thank you, Peter and Sorrano!
@Peter, no I didn't approach an conductor yet, but thank you for the encouragement! I will try to find some local conductor and show him some of my orchestrations :-)

@Sorrano, the equipment and software I use is Finale 2008a with the soundlibraries from Kontakt Player/Garritan PersonalOrchestra. In the past these were 2 separate systems but by now they are combined in one:

Thanks, Gerd! I've used Logic Audio for Windows 98 for years but now it's pretty much obsolete and currently I am unaware of any platform that might read the old Logic files (.lso) and was hoping Finale might. I will have to check that out.

Keep up with the orchestrations, though! I will have to listen to your earlier works, as well, as opportunities were not present at the time.
