    CM comic-books - the solution?

Just wanted to impart the following info -- an American comic-book artist of some renown recently embarked on adapting the entire Ring Cycle into comic-book form. It's a wonderfully drawn and entertaining tribute to the most profligate opera ever made.

    Here's the URL: http://lurid.com/pcr/index_ns.html

The whole series opened my eyes to the potential of this medium -- showing the uninitiated (young and old alike) the fun and thrill of Classical Music. Could this be one way to save CM from obscurity? Bring back the masses? Ahhh...now if only "Fidelio" could get similiar treatment!

I don't know about other places, but here in Argentina to talk about ‘the masses’ including in that concept the comic-reader public is underestimate the masses!!!

Sorry Luis, I wasn't meaning to offend anyone. Not a bit! Heck, I read comics myself now and again. Nothing wrong with that. `Sides, who amongst us has never read a Sunday strip? Perhaps Argentina needs to loosen up a little on its take towards comic readers?
