    Beethoven Maths Question

Beethoven was notoriously bad at maths, but nobody could solve this idiotic question:

I go with this answer: -
That’s like saying ‘It takes 9 months for a woman to have a baby, how long would it take for 2 women to have a baby?’” posted another.

I feel sorry for the teacher who wrote this - it seems from the article that her question has been taken out of context.

In fairness, I think she put it in as a sort of joke.
Which is the last thing one needs in a maths exam!
Incidentally, does anyone know if any conductor has got through the Ninth in 40 minutes?

It makes as much sense as the riddle my father would throw out after a good few drinks:

"If a cow and a calf walked a mile and a half in a day and a half.
how many yards of minestrone soup would it take to make a pair of wooden clogs for an elephant."

(If anyone knows the answer, by the way, let me know.)

You could say, "None, because ice cream does not have bones."

That makes sense. I wonder how I never thought of that.

I agree fully with LvB: 11 quarters make 10 and a quarter. Logical, sensible and so easy.
