Looking for one's posts within a given thread.

I am looking for posts posted by me within this thread. Immediately below the first Post Reply button there is the Search this Thread facility (or whatever the name is). Using this facility, if I look for user names, I only find them if they are within the text of a post. But suppose I have posted in this thread but my name is not part of any of the posts texts. Would still be possible to find out my posts, if any, within the thread, assuming I won't do it by hand?

EDIT: I find that using the Find in this Page device in my web browser, the problem is solved. But what if the thread consists of ten pages?

You can get a listing of your own posts - just click on your username as it appears by the side of any post you have made. This might be a better way to do a search like that.

Thank you for that, Chris. It could be impractical in the case of I having posted more than a thousand posts but, if I have an idea about the date range, could be very useful. Regards.

You can also used the advanced search to do something more specific.
